The Pool Operator Renewal option is exclusively for those seeking re-certification. In 2005 the National Swimming Pool Foundation completed a major re-write and update of the Certified Pool Operator (CPO) program. Because of the extensive changes in practices and technology, Pool Operators have been required to attend full courses.

What is my Registration Number?

If you CPO certificate is currently valid, you are eligible for the Pool Operator Renewal. You will be asked for your CPO Registration Number, which is on your certificate, during registration. If you do not have a copy of your certificate, you must contact the National Swimming Pool Foundation by e-mail or telephone at (719) 740-9119.

Pool Operator Renewal includes:

• Tuition & Instruction Fee.
• Online Primer for Review.
• Attend 1 day review and exam session.
• Course Handouts & Materials.
• Printed copy of State Bathing Code.
• Exam Fees.
• 5 Year Certification (based on exam results).
